Queens of the Stone Age
Question: do I go or not?
Given the following information:
1. The concert is free (for me)
2. The concert is across the street (from my house)

sad claim to fame of the day:
so my roommate and i, as we are wont to do, were sitting in the 'ballroom' with some other weird looking guy munching on our respective lunches under the 'no food or drink' sign.
nice and quiet there as twas only three people sitting in a huge room.
he left, and my roommate mentioned that he was the bassist.
YOU MAY ALL WORSHIP MY GREATNESS

hes actually the lead in foo fighters :P
(and yes he did replace QotSA's old drummer for their new album, which incidentally is rather splendiferous)

okay here's the 'cons'
it was 40 degrees outside (5 degrees by your crazy european temp system) and windy as hell, and the concert was outside.
that, and the sound system was put together by bitter college students who were/are drunk and/or hung over and had never put together a sound system before (they let me do it in past years)
so the first half hour was kinda sucky, what with cold as **** and couldn't hear
but we moved in decently close eventually and it kicked ass. they pretty cool etc.
ps: thanks for the assist
