Re: question
Bottler
If you get it i'll send you my server.ini file.
Basically lists all bots on the IRC networks your connected to and downloads from them like kazaa.
Fast, no bollocks on it and works really well.

Re: question
BitTorrent and associated source of torrents?
edit : e-mule is supposed to be OK if you're wed to a Kazza like program.

Re: question
e-mule is quite useless unless you use it in conjunction with Sharereactor, which is slower than R3 Planetarion.

Re: question
Direct connect!
It does not suck - its far better for movies and software than kazaa (although i still prefer mp3's on kazaa)

Re: question
Alternatively, if you have loads of time on your hands, the IRC networks still hold quite a lot of channels with F-Serves/FTP sites which can be profitable.

This is where Bottler comes in.
It connects to all the networks you have in your servers list at the same time and then lists all the files that are on offer.
All you do is double click and it downloads them for you.

Re: question
DC++ > all. You can find anything, with good speeds and minimum hassle, except for Planescape Torment, which seems to have never existed in the first place.

That appears to be in opposition to my experiences (Find almost nothing with bad speeds and much hassle)
