Is this site actually real, or is it just another one taking the piss out of the RIAA? I can't believe that anyone advising to print out the hex code of MP3's and sending them to the RIAA can be serious.... can it?

I was going to post this about three hours ago, then I figured "nah someone must already have done it".

How come these things come in waves like this? I saw it somewhere else just three and a half hours ago, and now its here too? I understand it when it happens in chain emails or something, but sendthemback? Odd.

I haven't stolen a single MP3 in my whole life. I've copied alot of them from people willing to share with me tho.

But surely word would just open it as ASCII and not Hex. Thereby giving you a page full of square boxes and blank lines.

Whereas sending in the hex page would be an exact 'copy' of your MP3, it could be recreated from the information on the page.

Therefore Hex is better...

In response to the original question, no. I'm too poor to pay for music and too lazy to get a job. If they don't hunt me down and prosecute piss on their faces.
