Angels Recruitment Thread: Round 21
We are recruiting for next round.
We stated in our AD thread about our return that we would be keeping to a relatively small core of members and only a few newer players. I've been giving alot of thought recently to that descision and realise it is a mistake. PA needs alliances with new blood, and many of the newer players need support. Angels are officially opening recruitment to all, both new and old players. We will offer all the support needed for new players to get used to the game and to integrate into the Angels community.
Angels has a commited community with a strong sense of both loyalty and fun! I have stated before that we are value players, this is true in the sense that we place high importance on you keeping most of your fleet alive (rather than suiciding for xp) and we will defend you (and expect you to defend others) to help hold onto roids and protect ships. We aren't ignorant to the fact XP is now the more dominant factor in planet score so don't expect us to ignore it!
What Angels will give you as a member:
1. Daily attacks (enough with times that should accommodate most players).
2. Defence for your planet when needed.
3. Membership of a fun and friendly community.
4. An organised command structure (You will know who to turn to if you need help).
5. An experienced command structure (see below for details).
6. Support for new players for all aspects of planet management.
7. A competent alliance that does not ignore its members.
What Angels expects from you as a member:
1. Participation in attacks on a daily basis (some missed attacks is not the end of the world however!)
2. Defence! You must be willing to defend other members if you are to recieve defence yourself.
3. IRC Activity. IRC is our main form of communication, you should be on for several ticks a day. Crucial times to be on are evening / sometime in the night and early morning.
4. Contactability. We very often ring people when we urgently need defence ships or for various other (planetarion related) reasons. It is important that we have an SMS number for you. (You can still apply to us if you do not have an SMS number)
5. Have fun! We do want you have fun, while some of the things we expect may seem demanding they are all there to help you and your alliance have a more successful and fun round!
If you are interested come to our irc channel #furious-angels on netgamers irc (irc.netgamers.org). Do not use the above requirements as being gospel! If you have an interest in joining, and think you would make a good member then come to our irc channel and speak to either myself (Superfly) or Mobrulz.
Our Current High Command Structure is as follows:
Superfly (Defence & Recruitment)
Mobrulz (Recruitment)
behem0th (Intel)
Assassin (Military)
Cisco (Techie)
We all have various other HC related jobs to do as well as these. We will have regularly (at least weekly) member meetings to address any issues members have and try to ensure everyone is getting the most they can out of their time in Angels.

And there was me thinking you would be happy about that?
I returned to PA Team as i was asked to take presure of people to allow them to do coding. And now i think a sufficient replacement has been established for me i can now return back to the community again.

After some further consideration, I've decided to restrict this thread to discussion of Angels only. Assassin has explained himself and that's all that needs to apply to Angels herein. Any further discussion of Assassin's departure from PA Team should be done on the appropriate forum (PD).
Best of luck to Angels. Let's hope you can show the current lot how PA should be played.
