Roll on that clause into Microsoft's EULA.
Just talking about joypads and stuff made me shoot off and play MotoGP2 online for a bit.
I used to play it with the keyboard before i got myself a Wingman Rumblepad which are
(dual analog control sticks, digital dpad, throttle slider if you're into space/flight sims (which i'm not really) and 9 buttons including 2 shoulder buttons. oh and an extra button to swap the left analog function with the dpad (which is also on the left) if you feel so inclined).
ANYWAY:
The point is I have no idea how I ever managed to play on the keyboard. I've got the right stick set up as analog throttle/brake, the left stick as analog steering, the two shoulder buttons as lean forward and back for those really fast straights and tight corners, and various buttons do other things like independant front and rear braking.
The ammount of control you get is brilliant, and the game uses the force-feedback to simulate the 'feel' of the bike, so you can feel it starting to lose grip if you turn too hard for example, way before you get much in the way of a visual indication.
It's always worth buying a decent gamepad.
(actually I bought 2: 2 player NHL dontchaknow)
