We hereby declare that we are sorry to have declined all other alliances to join our block because we are already too powerful to loose this round.
Olymp goes and hacks all enemy top 100 accounts to get them closed.
Virus is going to massively attack the to be closed planets just 5 minutes before Zeus hits the close button.
Madcows is our propaganda squad and flames everyone stating that we will not win.

Quite similar to round 8, but still thank you all for wasting your time reading this bull**** and have fun losing round 9

Since when do most of the AD threads have a point?

But I can understand if you close this thread as you are a Forums Mod and as it appeared in the last months, the forum mods tend to take measures against everything that flames there alliances.

I fail to see how a thread, with nothing to do with alliance discussion, filled with spam replies, constitutes an "alliance discussion", and why that thread should be here, or anywhere else other than perhaps "General Discussion".

If you would care to explain it to me, I'd be more than happy to listen to your explanation.

To be honest, and don't kid yourself here, this type of stuff is what makes AD crap. If you think otherwise, you're sadly in the minority.

Alliance Disucssion is not for the select, anyone is entitled to an opinion, despite what they base it on.

I think your over looking what AD should be about, discussion across the board, not only just amongst the informed or the better known.

This guy was looking for a response, just like me or you do when posting, just because we present it differnently certainly does not determine wether or not it stays.

As far as i am concernd, its alliance releated material, a discussion on alliances, and thus BELONGS in AD.

I totally agree, 100%, AD is for everyone and anyone to post opinions and seek information (the latter being a poor idea however)

Consider this though:

The first post in this thread wasn't a question, nor in any way could it be construed as a search for information.

As well, none of the subsequent posts were at all constructive...and there's several other existing threads that actually reference this issue, that the thread starter could easily have read instead of posting this, or even before posting a new thread, to find answers to his questions.

A trolling/flaming thread is one thing...when it involves "constructive" trolling/flaming (ie, information being exchanged "roughly" between people "in the know"), and whereas the average AD reader can browse, and pick up the general idea of "whats going on". Classic AD threads, are often this type of threads, ala round 6.

A trolling thread where people fail to bite the troll, and simply post off-topic, irrelevant, and uninformative replies is quite another...and ultimately useless as no information is presented, of the "General Discussion" notoriety.
