F-Crew Round 28
Well we are here for the 28th round, here as a guiding star to those that need something to follow, here to give guidence, here to play Planetarion and have fun whilst doing it.
To New Players:
Since the dawn of PA, under the management of Wakey, we have been here to help and train you guys in the arts of Planetarion warfare. Reading the manual and ship statistics page can be confusing, but when you have a whole team of experienced players to bounce questions and ideas off, the learning process is less confusing, boring and becomes more fun and takes less time to learn the essential skills to play successfully.
All alliances have requirements for you to join them, however, ours are really small to ensure you are able to enjoy this game to it's full potential.
Our requirements:
* Be IRC active - IRC (internet relay chat) is very important, as planetarion is a community based game and without it we wouldn't be able to help you learn or coordinate attacks.
* Pro-actively Attack - This is a WARGAME, so lets have war and enjoy it! You will be attacked, do not fear this, embrace it, and attack others
To PA Veterans:
Here at F-Crew, we are always looking to improve our Command Team with experienced players whom wish to help the 'new player base', your assistance at F-Crew would be greatly appreciated as this would help us meet our goal of helping new players and ensuring they have a good experience so they stay a part of the Planetarion Community.
Our HC Team this round:
Wakey - Management and Politics
Imperial - Recruitment and Everything else
Vansun - Military
So come join the fun, we look forward to meeting you.
To join F-Crew:
Join IRC server irc.netgamers.org and come into channel #F-Crew - once there, either PM (private message) Imperial or ask in channel for a recruitment officer.
Then we can have a little chat, see who you are, and hopefully get you into our alliance.
If you need help with IRC, here is a guide i wrote a few months ago - http://www.planetarion.com/misc/pages/irc-guide
I'd just like to wish Juice the best of luck and fun in joining the multihunters Team - just don't get drunk and randomly close people for lulz!

Don't be stupid, be a smarty, come and join the F-Crew party!!!
As Imperial has said, we are an enjoyable alliance that looks after its members. If you are new to the game, we will take care of you and show you how to play.
I personally enjoy F-Crew for the banter in IRC and can say that this alliance is probably filled with the strangest people you could possibly meet (25ft tall dogs for instance).
Come on in, offer your defence fleets and get chatty. You will enjoy it.
Look out for the return of the everso popular "Pop quiz mofo" competitions!!

Re: F-Crew Round 28
The F-crew recruitment song
(to the tune of american pie by don mclean)
A long long time ago, we can still remember
how PA used to make us smile
and we all knew if we just try
we could be the best training ally
and make new members happy, for a while
So we take on n00bs who know no better
who follow our instructions to the letter
though some find they get the sack
if they're not irc active and dont attack
We welcome all who have applied,
our irc bot has a guide,
We wear our ally tag with pride
We're F-Crew till we've died
So hi, hi, all those who wish to apply
let us remind, you won't find a finer training ally
We'll help you learn, and make you calc till you cry
just join #f-crew on irc to apply
join #f-crew on irc to apply
Do you often get distressed
not knowing which button should be pressed?
Then f-crew is the place for you
Do you believe in crashing fleets
with your victories outnumbered by defeats
then we're the ones to show you what to do.
Well we've got the HC team from hell,
we've got Vansun. Smokeh and imp as well
and wakeys there each day
though he's usually afk
We have daily attacks and defence for you
and a members channel resembling a zoo
if this sounds like the place for you
then we'll see you in #f-crew
So hi, hi, all those who wish to apply
let us remind, you won't find a finer training ally
We'll help you learn, and make you calc till you cry
just join #f-crew on irc to apply
join #f-crew on irc to apply
