Who's experienced with Sony digital cameras?

I've got a Sony digital camera that I bought around late 2002.

I was wondering if this will work with the camera providing I also have the adapter with it.

Someone told me Sandisk stuff don't work with Sony (incidentally, my 512mb Sandisk Memory stick PRO Duo doesn't work with Sony PSP unlike the proper Sony memory cards). Someone else told me only the long Sandisk (not the one like above with an adapter) will work with Sony camera such as this: http://www.jessops.com/images/products/SDKMS128MB.jpg

Could you help and tell me who's right?

P.S. The Jessops website says it will work but I want to hear it from people who used the devices.
