meh the top 10 and "cheating"
do people think the entire top ten cheat?
or do they think the top 10 galaxies cheat
i'm in a top 10 gal atm, and tbh im sure none of us cheat, we've had a hell of a lot of lost ships rebuilds, everything and never once have i seen one person saying "im going to my roidfarm now"
i dunno
stop being so pissed off with top 10 people, it's not their fault they did well at the start and held onto it, for christ sake dont be bitter

To say no-one in your galaxy is cheating is pretty blind. I very much doubt theres a galaxy in this universe that doesnt have a couple of cheaters in it.

Everyone thinks that those nice guys they chat with on irc couldnt possibly cheat. Its taken a long time in PA for the general population to realize that cheaters arent bad people or bad players. They seem active, they seem like they dont need to cheat, they are perfectly nice people, they just take some short cuts. Saying that your sure any group of people dont cheat is just silly.

Oh and to the point: Ur pretty much wrong here Seventh.. Sure there might be some of em playing honest and good.. And I dont doubt the top 10 are good players but in one way or another most of em has done sum cheating to get there.. From own experiences I've been attacked by top 30 peeps that has 'surprisingly' loyal 'friends'... I.e 10 planets attacking of which 1 is big and 9 are small and only the big planet sends pods... I've seen this done in a lot of newsies of other plrs aswell...

The fact of the matter is score ranks mean fkall cuz of all teh cheating going on. Top lists dont prove who the best players are. they never have and never will.

To say no one in any of the top 10 galaxies cheats would be a lie, I would be amazed if there wasn't someone who cheated in some way or another in every galaxy, but as galaxies I highly doubt they are cheating and are aware that their galaxy mates are.
Top 10 planets on the other hand is a totally different thing, I don't care what excuses come up, some of the escort fleets that some of them get is cheating to me, whether it being multis, account sharing or whatever. I mean who the hell gets up at god knows when in the night to send a fleet to help someone else that doesn't benefit them at all, over and over again?

The man does have a point. It would be nice to play a PA where the top10 actually shows skill instead of the ability to handle multiple accounts...
It would be nice (but probably a bit unfair) to have a PACrew that delete accounts with the smallest suspicion of cheating. No mercy type thing.

Even without a single cheater PA would tell nothing about special skills of anyone. Even a untrained monkey can win PA if lucky enough and "active" (or stupid) enough and with being on the right side and getting help from friends.
And no - I am neither bitter nor do I have "no clue".

Quick edit now that I'm fully awake....
As I dig through galaxies, looking for targets...I notice that there seem to be people who are really really new at this game. I have to disagree..it takes skill to build a good fleet, especially if you feel like straying away from the cheese fleet combos that everyone and his dog, and the dog's puppies uses..
I call it skill when people finally realize that it's much better to launch an attack fleet at 00:59 instead of 00:12 or something like that.
I call it skill when people know the mindf*** techniques to get people to recall def so one's attack to land. Knowing how people will think and react is the biggest part of the skill in this game imo. Being a psychology student I take a great joy in this... :P
If the game didn't require at least some measure of skill, people should pretty much be even. One attacks the other, gains roids. Said attackee next night uses the same level skills to gain his roids back, and first person who stole roids in first place doesn't have the skill to stop him because everyone has the same skill level in a land where no skill is needed...
