SWaRM - the alliance with a heart.

Type of alliance: defensive
Policy: democratic

SWaRM was formed on the premise that even the smallest planets can be a force to be reckoned with. We have no minimum score to join the collective. To join SWaRM you must be active in

* PA,
* Swarm forums
* IRC (idling when not online isn´t necessary, idling peeps can´t send def.)
* have one or all of these ICQ, MSN, AIM addresses (pref MSN)
* provide us with a valid e-mail address

You will be accepted for a trial period in which you will be monitored by one of SWaRMs officers, timelength will vary; the more active, the quicker you will get promoted. This is to seperate the truely interested and the ones that don´t actually care.

Our rules are simple:
* if you wish to be helped then you must help others.
* you cannot be inactive and then just appear and ask for help.
* if you are inactive for a period of one week or so, without notifying your coming absence or have a good reason for your absence when returning, you will be kicked from SWaRM. No alliance benefits from inactive members.....
* if you continually refuse to help other SWaRM members then you will be kicked from the alliance. We are a tight family and helping eachother is rule number 1.

If you think that you can work by these rules then feel free to apply for membership because you are obviously "of the right kind" :-) and will fit in nicely! Any questions? Use the General Discussions link at the bottom of our webby or visit us at #swarmcore - there should be an officer and/or HC present between CEST 18:00 - 23:00.

Long time no see Anom, i hope all is well. Swarm also was one of the friendliest communities in PA and i am sure that will be the same in r9, keep up the good work and good luck in r9.

PS- SWaRM also attacks, altough it is mainly a defensive alliance.

Thank you for the kind words :-) SWaRM has a limit of 80 - 100 active members. No sence in dragging along inactive peeps, besides we want to be able to know all the members. SWaRM is a family and we seek to keep it that way.
Like most alliances, SWaRM is gathering "old" members back from other games along side of wishing new members welcome. Guess all alliances are rebuilding their members list right now and wouldn´t venture mentioning an exact number quite yet.

hehe hey all..so many famililar names here

im Jack from swarm a senior officer..and i would strongly recommend joining swarm if u are looking for a friendly alliance...i know what u are thinking and thats that i would say this cos im a senior officer in swarm..but really it is a great alliance. we are friendly, active, not the biggest of alliances but we see that as a good thing becuase everyone knows everyone else much more...its a great place to be...good fun =D

It sounds rather wimpish and as I see it it should not be needed to call the alliance that as all good alliances should be keep their members as the first priority and still be able to be and "offensive" alliance. I suppose I shouldn't be supprised, but it is very nice to see that you are still heading up Swarm Anom. :-)

I can't even begin to think how long its been since I played PA (about round 4 i think) but I'm back and will give it a go.

I'm ever so glad you're still in the universe anom! Peeps, if you're looking for an alliance home, give this one a closer look. Anom is the best of the best and her crew, although a bit on the seedy side ;-) is top notch as well.
