I can see WHY, but I wouldn't put them in the PScan... that would have to be under the Technology scan if it was going to go anywhere.

Actually it isn't. When you are targetting certain people, it would be nice to know what engineering they have. So when you get blocked with 101 stealth, it's a fluke or not. Or you might not even have to bother with trying to co-op them.

Agreed partly. Don`t see why it should be concealed, cov-opping is a feature of the game like attacking. If you can see your targets unit`s, you might as well see your targets alert/stealth levels in scans.
No to the engineering setting though, as well, I liked building fireblades at eta 4 prod to murder my fi attackers
