'The Blair family secret'
Posting since some if not most of you probably don't know (although some of you do know and don't respond to pm's, gits, ) , and since its come out in the newspapers i can start talking about it without people blanking me and going
Kathryn Blair tried to commit suicide a few months back, apparently it was a mixture of a teen angst type thing and pressure about what her dad had 'done' in iraq etc. Although the reasons are just pure speculation. Well anyway thats when the whole 'hes going to resign' thing started.

If I was her I´d bring home an arab prince and tell my mum ´I will only marry him when he gets me pregnant, wich is hopefully soon.´

Re: 'The Blair family secret'
My suggestion for all these young teen angst ridden girls (and boys, for that matter) is to tell them that they'll be getting all the attention they need from a certain man called Peter Rankin, and that after they've had his 'special attention' they won't be worrying about whether they're popular and/or people notice them or not, they'll be more worried about what kind of daisies and other flowers will be growing from the overturned earth that covers their shallow grave.
Edit: Could've sworn it was Paul. Oh well, my bad.

I'd have counselled her. Unless she looks like The Scream in which case I'd probably pass.

An opportunity for MM to shag his way into some form of higher politics was missed.

Cause if family issues are something that could influence the decision making of the person we ahve elected to take absolute control of our government, then yes it is our business.

Absolute control of government? What kind of of totalitarian hellhole are you lot running over there?
Prying into the personal lives of government officials is just journalist titillation of the worst sort. Ultimately, you want officials who can keep their private lives out of their public decisions (or who will step down if/when they can't). Otherwise, you're screwed anyway.

Really stupid.
And traumatising for everyone.
But was it a real suicide or a "I need attention" one's that girls more than boys do? Hmm.

I've never heard of this girl before in my life. Which is proof that even being related to a PM is no guarantee of fame.

Why has no-one got down to the inevitable squalor of 'I'd shag her' type remarks yet in this thread?
I demand an inquiry. And pics.

While it is true that we don't exactly have what would be called a perfect liberal democracy, due to our legislature, executive and judiciary not being entirely seperate bodies, I wouldn't call it a totalitarian hellhole. Our prime minister has quite a lot of power (not least with the large majority he has and our lack of a codified constitution), but we also have quite a dissident media + population - I don't think many would be surprised if he lost quite a lot of his majority in the next general election.

Re: 'The Blair family secret'
Why the hell should I care?!
I'm glad she didn't, and i'm sad for Tony as I would be for any man who's daughter tried to commit suicide. But Jesus H. Crist, it's none of my buisness, it doesn't affect me, I can't do anything about it, and it hasn't enriched my life.
Although your recent political posts have been more intersting than most of the others but this is just uninteresting. Except in a morbid sense. But still.
