Note when most companies offer a lifetime gurantee they only plan to really run for a couple of years and then dissolve the company and admonish themselves of that gurantee. It's quite a throwaway comment, I'd be more personally enthused by a reasonable gurantee from a long established company.

They have a History page on that site which implies they've been around a while (you can read his exciting story!).
p.s. I've always wanted to get a set of knives like that, although I don't do any cooking. I'm not sure why (to the former point, I know why I don't cook).

I live with 3 other people....and being a recently retired (i quit my job and vowed never to cook again) chef, I can always find uses for knives
