Reckon Howy would've done anything different to Tony (Iraq)
I don't.
Which gives me no reason to even think of voting Conservative next Gen. Elect.
Main reason: Reading his open letter to Bush in G2 yesterday.
Discuss.

Yes, I would have fs.
Rather than punishing Iraq I would have assassinated Saddam.
I hear the SAS are slightly good at that sort of thing.

Re: Reckon Howy would've done anything different to Tony (Iraq)
The Conservatives supported the war more vigourously than Blair did, and then started wondering what had happened when it all turned out to be a boo-boo.
Debate over.

Not if he keeps repeating his 'Bush if teh greatest threat to teh oith!' line, methinks.
I don't really understand what the benefits would be for him in going back to Labour. He's in the better bargaining position atm.
It's more of a 'Blair finding way not to be drubbed in local election' story than anything else. Blair obviously wants a Rhodri Morgan setup. I doubt Ken will really oblige.

He gets a party machine behind him to do all the work for him.

They (you know, them!) say that Blair refused Brown the job on that Committee because Brown is against letting Livingstone back into the party.

I don't know what that involves but if I hear of an election campaign involving a party machine it gets my vote

He should already have a fairly developed campaigning system already.
Also, this statement is rather silly, when you consider what exactly the 'party machine' is that he is signing up to.
Potentially huge loss of votes Vs having access to party infrastructure? Not really worth it.

That implies that there was ever anything worth stealing in Donegal even once which is a complete and utter falsehood.

Even then there are countless other places within Ulster where one can obtain better quality rocks.
