Would anyone like to see the re-introduction of private gals next round? I know i would..even though i was really lucky and ended up in a leet gal..

What are your thoughts?

um ... IF they brought priv gals back....... i would re-think of joining the game......... i jst give up on this new system......... first the PRIVATE galaxies are taken away............. then the "PROPER" planetarion is taken away........ whats next?

Private gals have its pros and cons. One half of the uni would leave if they would be reintroduced, the other half if not... Worst scenarios occurred in the rounds 5, 7 and 9. All with private gals...

Private gals should be brought back, I think so.

But then again they should be limited to members of the same alliance, only, to prevent the massive blocking which even happened this round.

hmmmmmmm actually....... lemme correct you there...... THE MOST INTERESTING...... not the worst...... it was the most interesting cause the battles between galaxies were really between a whole lot of mates or an alliance against another..... and the alliances where VERY located ... which to my point of view..... is good ^^

...and led to the most boring, playerbase-killing rounds ever due to the so-often-used-term "stagnation" for weeks/months.

No alliance wants all its members spread over 6/7 galaxies...so alliances team up, which results in blocks, which results in crap rounds.
Private, but with alliance-only, would be interesting (leaving an alliance would result in exile maybe), but I still think that pairing-up of players is the best idea. It means everyone has someone they know in a gal (alliances can use time-differences to advantage etc.) but still keep players spread out.

Everyone assumes there will be a round 11.

From what ive seen this round and the diminishing Player count, I dont think there will be enough demand.

Private gals are one of the safest ways to keep new players away from the game.
Why come as new players to a game when they will only be sitting ducks?

ofc it's more fun for the experienced players with lots of friends in here already, but for new people?

Random galaxies is the most fair way of game play.

That's so true you can get it... Private gals only kill the game, there's NO way of coming as a newbie into the game and stay as you simply won't be getting any alliance to play with!

Round 6 would have been useless if it was random. Round 6 was fun because of the block/private galaxy wars and because the politics was actually fluid. Oh and because Fury and Legion refused to give up unlike those spineless Xanadu scummers did in all the other rounds

You all seem to have a bit of trouble differentiating between the influence private/random gals have on a round and the influence of the politics of a round. 5 was crap because of private galaxies + politics. 6 was wonderful politics and crap galaxies because of multi free planets. 7 was hilarious politics and fun because of private galaxies. 8 was crap because both the random galaxies and politics were boring and did I mention the free multi planets? 9 I didn't give a rat's ass. 9.5 random galaxies were fine but the free multi planets killed it. 10's random galaxies are duller than ever as there are no ingal politics for minister positions nor neighborhood politics for clusters. So there.

Personally I'd like to see clusters/parallels reintroduced alongside private galaxies in which only one alliance/no alliance players can be and leaving that alliance means instant exile (only way to prevent people joining different alliances and inacting full-scale powerblocks as soon as the round starts). It might help bring a bit of political intrigue back into the game, and mean wars become more interesting and more high-profile.
