Email Question
Hi all,
Hoipe someone can shed light on this problem I have.
I run Outlook and Outlook Express. If send mail with an attachment from Outlook to my Outlook Express the attachment doesn't appear.
Stuff I have checked: Do not allow attachments is unticked. It works the other way around, OE > Outlook
Its annoying me now, can anyone shed some light on this strange problem?
Thanks
tsm

Re: Email Question
Why would you use both?
In fact, why would you ever use OE!?

Re: Email Question
Explain what you mean by sending 'from OE to outlook'?
You're sending an email to yourself, and checking in the other client?
And why on earth would you want/need to do such a thing?

I have an exchange server mail address in Outlook and I have a normal pop mail account in OE. Apologies forgot to mention that cos it does looks silly!

Why don't you just set up a pop3 account in outlook? If you want to keep them separate, you could always create different folders, in fact I believe if one is pop3 and one is impa, it will automatically do this for you.

Re: Email Question
Due to the nature of business I have to keep them seperate.
The outlook account deals with internal mails amongst management. The OE account deals with workload for my staff. Its a pain in the arse but that how its got to be I'm starting to pull me hair out at the this attachment problem

Re: Email Question
Yep, atm to get around it. I send mail from Outlook a/c to gmail. Then Gmail to OE.

Re: Email Question
I wouldn't use OE.
I hear good things about the mail program the Mozilla foundation have produced.
