sell pirated software and music, but keep yourself 'exclusive'. If people say 'I can get it for less money somewhere else', dont lower your price. Before you know your selling cd's for $1 and thats a waste of time.

When I was that age, I went to a comprehensive school that had its frist two years on a different site. I used to sell ciggys for a pound each, not per packet, but single cigarette to all the little scratters that wanted a fag. I make an absolubte fortune. Of course if you have any morals/ethics in anyway this might be a bit of a hinderance to this idea....

I won't flame you but I will question how you've avoided ever seeing a movie with one.

A kegger is a party (typically college-aged) where there are kegs of beer and guests come and pay for a cup and then fill the cup with beer as many times as they want or until the beer is gone (terms for this is "tapped" or "dry"). If enough people come and the keg is cheap enough then the people throwing the party should make a profit. And as a guest if you fill up your cup enough you should have saved money on drinking (cup prices are typically bout 5 bucks US). So it's actually a very nice example of capitalism in its finest.

1st) Thanks for the lack of flames
2nd) never heard of any of those movies, but I suspect they were/are aimed at a Teen audiance.
3rd) I am way past being a Teen, so not a lot of interest in the genre.

heres my suggestion:

Find somewhere you can get information on upcoming popular events. This can be for concerts, stand up comedians....anything that is going to sell out.

Buy a bunch of tickets AS SOON as they are released.

Wait

Wait

Sell the tickets on E-Bay when the concert is sold out.

Profit.

The only problem with this idea is you need to Not be lazy, and you need to "use money to make money", but i'll tell you it does work, if you choose events that are likely to be very popular and sell out quickly.

There are a lot off options for a young man who wants to make money.

1. I saw an article about how a kid used ebay to make lots of money as follows:

He'd get computers with relatively crappy speeds, and put them up on ebay claiming they were decently fast. Like take a 300MHz (which you can probably get for free) and put it up as a 900MHz. He made some good money.

Note that he made sure and scratched out the original speed on the thing.

2. For keggers, my roommate tried to have a fund raiser that way just the other weekend. Unfortunately, he was really stoned, and only about 40 people showed up (and what with being stoned he forgot to ask most of them for money). He ended up out about $100, but on the plus side we have extra kegs sitting aroun for our own use.

However, my team has been funding themselves this way for almost a decade (quite successfully).

Grimble: I know what you mean - I've seen a proggie on touting but I can't do online selling as no C.C. and eBay won't accept my Halifax sh1t +++ I don't have enough time to do the on-street touting (mass-buying & selling touting)

Eleeming: I read an article on that woman who tripped up or something in MacDonalds and sued a lot - something I'm considering - only on Bill Gates or somein!
