you hit it on the head Piac...so maybe my return to ViruS wasn't actually 'wrong' Some people call me a ****ing traitor, scumbag, backstabber, etc...but all the original ViruS who went to Seraphim can be called those names too.
I'm back where I belong

Never said that, hope you think I did not imply so. Merely pointing out, that whenever an alliance with some good potential arises (Seraphim, Sapientia, etc.), the established alliances **** their pants so hard that they, rather than welcoming the challenge, choose to destroy the new alliances from within.

I beg to differ, I for myself know for a fact that Seaphim was crowded with spies from the very start.

No offense to anyone here, but normally new alliances such as these are too naive to avoid this, be it from lack of experience or just will to do well - a perfect example is SpaceHamsters last round.

hum... a split because a internal struggle isn´t backstabbing... its difference of opinions, and shows you are loyal to your friends and your own ideology
Well... anyway, about YOU, you already know my opinion, I don´t need to keep flaming you here

It showed that certain people couldn't look past their friendships with individual(s) in high positions who had rightly been demoted for the good of the alliance and in the end were loyal not to the alliance, rather they were loyal to one person. Shame really.

seraphim at least was a very decent alliance at the start of round 9.5 with nothing but decent and experienced members
however the membersize decreased cause ppl either quit the game or left us, for whatever reason
it looks like the cause of the surrection of the actual Seraphim alliance, had also caused its little downfall
aka the ViruS quarrel
however a large part of that also falls responsible to the utter boredom pa brings to people when you play it some time have a decent account and decent gal a decent alliance and a decent score
add the parting of some key members/officers to this and you will find a demoralised alliance who has a struggle on keeping her members.
for myself i can say viper was a bit too inactive
however he is a human being with an actual life or something simular to that, and that goes for most people of seraphim (me for example)
so i dont even blame him a little
ladybug set our target at the start of round 9.5:
be a respected and decent alliance, in which fun plays the major role, while having a good memberbase founded on loyalty, not on numbers.
Most of our planets had decent scores. Defence never really has been a problem as far as i know. But i lost interest halfway trough the game. i still managed to be nearly top250
perhaps Seraphim isnt the best of alliances there is, but we have the capability's to play a fun game
for round 10 our situation seems to be insecure atm
but time will tell how we end up

Aranaf is correct, there were spies in virus as there weere in seraphim, to be honest there is no alliancer in pa withouth spies, the only thing that separates Good alliances from the mediocre is the way in which informayion is passed between command and members.
