So long, and thanks for all the fish
Hi all,
Within the last few days I have formally given notice of my resignation to Jolt and PAteam.
I've had a good innings with PA - I worked out that I'd been in PAteam for 1777 days up until my resignation - so I think it's high time to move on!
I know all too well that IRC has never had a particularly good reputation on these forums but I hope that over my period in charge of PA's channels I've successfully managed to improve it - particularly #planetarion, which when I started was considered the height of lameness
Particular thanks to everyone who's been involved in any of the ops teams over the years, and to Zeus if he ever visits here, for giving me the job despite my relative youth all those years ago!
After wasting literally all my teenage years with PA I intend to have a go at that 'real life' thing and dedicate my 20s to something else
Naturally I wish PA and everyone playing it the best of luck for the future too
Signing off,
-Mushroom.

Only if he has a mid-life crisis... if you spot him driving a porche then expect him back

Haha, I thought I might get this response.
It's true that I did announce that I was resigning as channels manager at the end of 2003, but I was persuaded to stay on as the channels deputy and NetGamers liason, eventually getting my old job back.
It's probably indicative of how often I visit these forums that that's the last thing some people remember me saying
But now I'm leaving both PAteam and PA, so... g'bye!

Im no longer in pateam, and yet I have access there.
Theres a difference from being a pateam member, and an ops team member.
Also, he is the channel owner after all. That'll be transferred probably to the new channels manager
GL Mushy with things to come, though i suspect we'll still see you around these parts from time to time
