Okay last night i drunk 1 litre of red bull before i went to bed last night for some nice dreams (trust me it works once u fall asleep - also two serving of metlted cheese toast and tomatoes always gives nice dream
) and in the resulting moment of clarity around 3am it came to me. Whats missing from new style pa is the big old battles from days of old, due to the number of players these days and the new stats.
What i propose is to add some fun into the end of round by having one last big old battle. How we achieve this? well we could take it that the official end of round rankingsare taken at like 15 ticks from true end of round. Then we get every planet with an even number to defend say the number 1 planet and everyone on an odd planet number to attack thge number 1 planet. ( we could maybe use the highest valued non tagged planet as target so that all alliances can attack defend etc.
What would this achieve? well say the avergage pa planet has 20k fleet , and therre ere 3k planets. That would give a battle with 60 million ships ffs !!! cmon admit it u know you would love to see the result. Ofc all alliances would have to agree before hand and agree that ranks at tick -15 etc are final. But i think of the memories of looking back one day and saying yes i was involved in the biggest battle in pa ever ....
