A 14,000 majority, with Lib Dems in third place last time, if your constituency is Bishop Auckland. (Which I think it is.)

yup, sounds right, i knew it wasnt 20k, but i knew that it was some unreachable figure that was quite high, on the plus side, at least derek foster has stepped down this time, thank ****, the man was an idiot

Not registered, but I'm in a safe-ish Labour seat (54% Lab to 22% Con last time round) so it's pretty irrelevent.

If I was going to vote then I'd probably vote for Respect or the Socialist Labour Party (because I knew the candidate in my constituency).

Even if I was "pro-system" and had faith in any of the main political parties our present electoral system would make the whole thing a bit of a joke tbh.

I think "so and so invaded a sovereign state for personal reasons, killed a hundred thousand civilians and lied to Parliament and country while doing so, but we won't" is a pretty decent policy, to be honest.

The tories are saying things such as "THE LABOUR ARE THE TAX MACHINERATORS" and are promising "MASSIVE TAX CUTS TO THE MAXXX" but really all they want is to take 0.3 pence off council tax for the old. And who gives a shit about the old?

Caborn has a 44.1% majority according to the BBC site. I think that's a one horse rate, unless you meant at home.

I shall be voting at home as that's where I'll be living next. I shall be voting labour, because the local candidate is a very good local MP and was also anti many of the labour things - eg top up fees and war. It's also meant to be very close back there between Labour and the Tories (Lib Dems don't stand a chance). If I was voting anywhere else it'd be for Lib Dem, but heh, that's the shit state of UK politics.
So in the poll above I'll be voting Labout but wanting Lib Dem so my vote is kind of distorting.

I will be voting Conservative. Was going to vote at home originally but they have no chance of winning Cynon Valley plus in Cardiff I know the candidate and he is a decent bloke.

I like the way the options get more and more insane as you go down the list and then at the end you have the green party

I am not British so won't be voting but if I was I'd vote for the socialist worker's party or whatever the equivalent is over there.

No at home its got an even grerater Labour majority and the conservatives are in second place with the lib dems miles behind.
Yeh, Caborn has a massive majority but I might as well vote Lib Dem and cut the gap. A lot of Lib Dem councillors were voted in round here iirc.

If I were going for policies then I'd vote Green.

Well, no but in the traditional use of the term by the media and compared to the other two major parties in Parliament they kind of are. Taking a simplistic view on things you could say that Labour on most issues are the centre party now with Lib Dem offering a "left" opposition (anti-war, pro-tax rises, scrapping some student fees, etc).
