Is this a correct statement of the rules?

The letters must be contiguous to one central letter AND each consecutive letter must be contiguous to the previous letter.

However, the central letter need not be the first letter in the sequence.

[Aside to the kind individual who neg repped me calling me a dumb Yank and telling me to read the rules. I would point out that the rules haven't been that clear and while I will not dispute the dumb portion of the comment, I do wonder what my nationality has to do with it.]
