New Year's Resolutions
well for the first time ever i made a resolution i stuck to. last year i made the resolution never to buy commercially made cards again. this came about one day when i was buying a card and realized that it cost $4.50 and remembering the days they used to cost $1.50 i then realized that really it'd be cheaper in the long run to make my own cards.
i have not bought a commercially made card once this year and i'm very proud of myself.
i haven't thought of a resolution for the new year though. the obvious 'lose weight' one hasn't worked for years so i need to think of one i can stick with :P
what is your resolution for the coming year?

Re: New Year's Resolutions
Every year I make the same resolution: to take up smoking, put on 20kg, get addicted to crack cocaine, catch an STD and father a child with a women I don't even know the name of. It's a win win situation, if I fulfil it I win, if I don't I win - the perfect resolution.

Get out of bed before 3 in the afternoon every day. I can see myself failing miserably.

Re: New Year's Resolutions
I've already started my resolution earlier this month. This involves:
-lose a bit of weight
-lose the big belly and get myself a bit toned
-save £1 every day - equivalent to £365 a year.
What I might add to those are:
-do my courseworks
-look for an architect firm to work for work experience
-avoid failing at university
-cut down my massive expenditure
-get married - if not this year, definitely next year.
Luckily enough, I do enough sports.

Re: New Year's Resolutions
My resolution this year as for last year was not to drink alcohol except at Easter/Xmas and in appropriate amounts.
I achieved it, in doing so I saved god knows how much cash.
I also had fun without alcohol which is the main thing that matters.
Alcohol is just a means to an end when your single or alone I find (or with someone you really don't match).
Also given that I have a girlfriend, I'm financially comfortable, I'm not burdened by family issues, I don't suffer any ill-health, I don't have any habits to gambling or smoking or doing drugs... I'd rather focus on maintaining that rather than divesting energies elsewhere to something that would ultimately be a superficial improvement.

b) tell all the as*holes I meet to f*** off and die
c) when Im out, make a non-subtle move on all the avaible girls (this includes grabbing for their arses ofc)
d) stop thinking about the welfare of others
I dont think I will make it

Re: New Year's Resolutions
My new years resolution:
-Stop smoking.
-Stop committing theft and murders.
-Be an ass on GD.
It works because I do all of them anyway.
