Wireless networking yo

Im curious to know this :

If you have a decent speed line (i.e. 10meg in and 384 up or somesuch) and you were to stick on a wireless router and then slap some repeaters and access points about a large building.....do you necessarily need to tell the broadband company that you are networking multiple computers in the building or does this kind of thing HAVE to be done as though it was commercial network?
