Development suggestions

Here we go:

1. -> Research
- Ability to go up to 300 constructions

Reason: So construction-based players don't reach the 250-limit one week before round ends.


2. -> Population

- Increase Construction Workers % limit.

Reason: To make it more competitive with the 50% Research Limit.

- Reduce Shipwrights limit

Reason: Reduces possibility of having players put everything on it to save themselves.

I'm pro raising the limit of constructions, either by adding a research or changing it to 25/50/100/200/400 (or similar).

I do agree that the way Population works need an overhaul, but Construction doesn't need the same % as Research to be competitive; simply put they're different things with different uses, and Research is limited while Constructions are not (for most people; see point 1!)

Why is having the ability to produce ships quickly a bad thing?

I just believe it shouldn't be as abusive as it is at this point.

I'm basically stating that instead of building factories you can mess population around and do the same thing.

Population has a limit to what it can do, whereas factories scale things way better

Abusive?

Definition of abuse in English:

Use (something) to bad effect or for a bad purpose; misuse:


Common term about anything one disagree with in PA is abusive.

It is not abusive, its a valid tactic, it is a legal move in PA, it is common sense to use the ability, it is one line of defence tbh. You choose away having value now, in order to maybe be able to focuse value if/when incommings.

It is as much abuse as burning factories overnight incase of incommings.
Or, as much abuse as slow prodding your ships incase of incommings and/or to lover value somewhat.
