I take it the buyers are making a new round?
and also am i to assume that the new owners will be charging for it, if it indeed happens?

1) What's the point of spending vast amounts of money on a web-based game avec community and 'not run another round'?
2) As we don't yet know who the new owner is, 'no-one knows' what's going to happen.

1) No, their monkeys will be doing so,
2) From one of the newer announcements some of the bidders are saying they'll offer their first round for free.

I sort of feel sorry for the new owners. There's a great chance of everybody complaining at everything they do, regardless of who they are, and what they do.

I think they'll be quite receptive; any game is better than no game.

Fortunately, Fifth Season has lowered our expectations so far that we'll need shovels to retrieve them. :/
