Remembering your childhood*
I'm trying to come up with a list of the toys we played with when we were little.
Things like MASK figures/vehicles, Teenage Mutant Hero (Ninja?) Turtle stuff, Transformers, etc.
Add to the list please if you remember anything else.
*or in Dace's case looking into your girlfriends toybox

Re: Remembering your childhood*
i never used to have any action figures or owt like that, they bored the shit outta me... i did have about 150 little cars that one day i decided to go on a "rampage" and vandalise them all with one of those little hammers you get in a junior toolbox

Those were Mini Boglins, there were much larger ones available.
But another vote for lego.

What about the mini monster things (hydra, great beast, behemoth etc) which had an associated cartoon series and card game?

Re: Remembering your childhood*
StarCom, not SpaceCom. Sigh. That was wicked.
Construx.
Scalextrix.
I remember Lego. I had the ENTIRE pirate set, except for the goody's boat, which I was going to get for Christmas. I couldn't wait to have it all. THEN THEY BROUGHT OUT AN ENTIRE NEW SET OF STUFF. Curse you cruel world.

Re: Remembering your childhood*
The Space Construx was the best.
The other stuff with boats and cranes was just crappy.

Re: Remembering your childhood*
Scalextrix was cool... i wanted one for years, and when i finally got the one that makes smoke on the start line i didnt know what the oil was for. ended up spilling it everywhere, and couldnt get anymore when i figured that was what caused the smoking effect. Still, making ramps from the straight pieces of track and firing the F1 cars into the wall was fun, they were pretty much indestructable

Brio, Sticklebricks, Lego, Transformers, Micro Machines, Scalextrix, all that sorta stuff.
And building forts kinda rocked too.
