I encountered this phenomenon a while ago when I mistyped an address, however when I just tried again it returned a DNS error :duh:

I guess what is kinda of worrisome is that you are agreeing to their TOS if you mistype a domain. and if you don't like it, well you have to stop using their "service" that is soooooooooooo evul. That almost makes gates look innocent

On the subject of fair competition, how much would it cost a competitor to do the same, by registering over a googol domain names, a few more domain names than there are theoretically atoms in the universe, paying the normal rates?
