It's interesting, I don't know how people can keep up with the storylines though when there's so many of them. I suspect it's an all-day activity.

Actually I've almost been drawn into giving it a go but generally it seems like too much work. I have actually participated in a RP event once many years ago. It was set in the Star Trek universe on another set of boards. The experience didn't last long though as one of the characters was on an ego trip and considered himself a tank, I was playing as an android and his character was human but with a cybernetic arm. I think he felt threatened or something because he pretty much spent the entire storyline attempting to pulverise my character with his cybernetic arm and send me to my grave, eventually the person hosting the event got sick of our in-fighting and banned us both.

There are threads there with like 1000's of replies, and at least 5 active. I can't see how they keep up. And they seme so smart and imaginative!!!! I could never think up a character like that. I agree though, it seems to be an all day affair.
Which is totally ludacris.
