the death of gameshows
When did gameshows begin to die? I remember when I was younger watching gameshows pretty much every day during prime time. But recently they have declined. the only 2 that seem to be on regularly are the weakest link and who wants to be a millionaire. In my opinion both of these have run past their sell-by-date. Both are too intense to watch regulaly as there is either too much at stake or hardly any time to answer the question.
they just don't seem to have the appeal of classics such as wheel of fortune or family fortunes or wipeout etc...
At the moment I'm watching Eggheads whic is pretty good but probably won't be on in a couple of weeks. What are you favourite game shows and do you think there should be more gameshows on tv?
