Interweb explorer opening zip files automagically
Whenever I download a zip file with IE it opens it automagically. I want it to stop doing this as it's an annoyance if I actually want to save the file.
How would I go about doing this?

Right click on link, save as a .lolol file then rename once it's downloaded to .zip, ta-da.

Install DAP, it'll overwrite the priorities for you - then uninstall it and you'll be back at defaults (hopefully).

In mine it's Preferences -->Receiving Files --> Download Options --> Uncheck "Automatically decode files"
It will be different in your version though.

Right
Open explorer, View/Tools > Folder Options > File Types > ''Winzip File'' > Edit
Towards the bottom tick 'Confirm open after download'
Sorted
