i have
i was 10 yrs old
my dad video taped it (yes he video taped the ride fs.. he also videotaped 'it's a small world' :\)

anyways.. on the video you can see us go into a tunnel where the 'train' starts climbing a steep hill (people who've been on this ride prolly knwo what i mean) and you can here me say something like 'i don't feel so good'

you know the theory.. what goes up must come down.. and i hated rollercosters. that ride and space mountain were the only two 'real rollercoasters' i would go on :\

colussus at thorpe park is alright. i tend to find all rollercoasters rather mediocre though. the only ride that ever made me skane up was one that goes up and just drops and you leave your stomach behind, it's so bad. :/ (wnna go again though)

We were told by our Canadian hosts to 'go on Top Gun, its the best ride in the park!', which we did. It was one of the last coasters we went on and it just didnt meet the expectations we had for it.

It was good but not really the best in the park. The one where you stand up was better, only because you got to stand up on a roller coaster that went upside down!!

I told my GF yesterday about this accident and that I had been on that ride in Florida. She asked 'was it scary' to which I replied 'not half as scary as it was for the bloke who died'.
