Historical Novels

Hi, I'm looking for Historical Novels mostly from 1600 - 1850.
Like The Three Musceteers, Angelique, Count of Monte-Cristo, tales of Horatio Hornblower and similar tales...

If any1 would be kind enough to share their knowledge with me i'd be most happy

You need to speak to Vermillion.
He'd be the best person on GD to speak to regarding historical stuff.

Sharpe - it's like the Hornblower ones except he's an Infantry Officer. And he fights and stuff.

Ohh...I find that period interesting, I tend to like the glamour at the French court. Like Louis XIV, and the cardinals Richeliu and Mazarin. I also enjoyed the novel series about Angelique, unfortunatly only the volumes 1 - 10 out of the total 15 has been translated to my language.

Workmonkey: You could ofc include other historical novels from earlier periods. I think i'm gonna start reading the Templar series by Jan Guillou. Also I've read some classics like Robin Hood and Ivanhoe. But please don't include any books written on rhymes, like the divine comedy by Dante.

Elfhelm: I will check out Sharpe. And btw, Hornblower did fight
