Obviously , both Dace and MM could have had a contest of their own since they had tons of entries, but to make things a little more voter friendly, only the best caption from each has been chosen.
Over to you , GD

Everyone is angry.
So.
Let's have a revolution to sort things out.
We kill Kura, proclaim the People's Republic of Caption Contest, and we all live happily ever after.

Or
We have what will forever be known as "The Post of the Week Revolution" where we overthrow the weak willed spineless leader of the current contest and install an iron willed dictator who chooses only his own favourite posts of the week and forces you to vote on them on pain of death, or banishment to RP!

Re: Friday Caption Contest : 12/11/04 - Voting
There's no yearning for a revolution in over at POTW, because there the government is conducted on a proper basis. People are content.
Alas, I imagine it won't be long before we see people queuing in the caption competition thread for two hours, just to be able to buy a slice of bread and a black and white TV manufactured in Hungary in 1973.

The people are content because they have no choice to be content, the alternative is anarchy and people fear the unknown.
Here, people have a structured environment where hard work is rewarded and slackers are punished by cynical putdowns and beatings with rubber batons. Advancement is possible through skill and effort, unlike in Mansonistan over there.

I believe that may have been the point, a point lost entirely in the globular vacuum that appears to occupy your skull cavity.

"lies"
Hard work is not rewarded here.
You discounted 80% odd of the entries on the simple premise that an entry had already been choosen from them (you big gay)

Would it make any difference if I posted in French, as far as your intelligence level goes?
