The Cure
So... last week I coïncidentally saw one of their concerts and I thought it was amazing. I went on 'acquiring' their latest album, which I think is a masterpiece.
Of course I knew their hits like the forest, boys don't cry etc.. but I feel like I've been missing out
Since they've been around for more than 20 years, which other albums should I check out?
PS: it was on the werchter festival in belgium, and placebo and starsailor were excellent too!

Re: The Cure
Check out every album.
Also check out Blink 182's song All of This on their most recent album which features Robert Smith on vocals...it ****ing rules.
Their new album (The Cure's) is amazing....

Re: The Cure
Yeah I got that CD when it came out and I was like 'what the hell is this?' but then that song came on and it was on repeat in my car for a month... It's so nice to listen to. The rest of the album kind of grows on you after a while but it's a lot different than other Blink albums. More "mature". :P

Re: The Cure
I've only listened to the singles and I'm still wondering how the **** such a simple and boring song like 'I miss you' can be so addictive

Re: The Cure
It is very addictive actually...but All of This is amazing.
Still when I frst listened to the new Blink album I was surprised...but yeah it grew on me - I like everything on it now, like the rest of their albums.

Re: The Cure
I recommend buying most albums. Or a box set if you can find one online somewhere...
THERE...

Re: The Cure
Best albums are Disintergration and Pornography. (Probably.) But pretty much all their best songs are covered on the greatest hits albums. So buy those instead.

I thought this would be about AIDS.
Sadly it just ´hints´ towards it in a strange way.

Jimmy Eat World is also coming out with a new album this year supposedly...we'll see how that goes.
OR OR OR...you could snag Staind's latest. Also very good.
