ok they may not have lions, but as this bbc article states,

they consistently top the UN country rankings, and seem to have social equality and a fair wage system that would horrify a typical western government. Would this be possible without the oil money or is it part of the 'national character' to be egalitarian and 'frown on wealth'? Could a similar system ever be introduced in the UK/US?

so... Is everything really so wonderful in Norway? (apart from the price of beer)
