Re: a question
So instead of just bumping dead threads now we make new threads about how we think the old thread should be bumped?
I'm just not sure how I feel about this new convention.

Re: a question
I nominate 'Dumb' as the feeling for this convention.
Looked like a reasonable thread though.

Re: a question
I dont really like idea of bumpping threads unless they are needed or done with some effort into them, this way around things although diffrent seems to just be more long winded method. A little less annoying but still annoying, and to answer the question as I see it. I do not think anyone one person is responsible for the thread losing popularity it just happened and can be blamed, it just simple lost whatever appeal it had mixed with a majority of people not posting anymore. Meaning its one of many threads to fall down into the proverbial pit like them.

Re: a question
Who let the SCA die? Who let the Library of Infinity die? Who let the OOC die?
These questions are pointless.

Re: a question
The SCA became Onslaught; for a brief period there was an infantry based onslaught thingy, now there is Doom... so technically I suppose it's not dead, just evolved into something unrecognisable.
The OOC 'died' when there was no-one left to be a rookie under the traditional definition... so it's still there just no-one uses it any more, we still send someone in every now and then to do the cleaning - they never seem to come back out though.
Elvis 'died' because he mistook the qualzorg mothership for a hamburger and got caught in their hyperspace field - he is now performing eight days a week at the Club Dxrita on Sirius Four.
Kenny's list of reasons for dying is too long to list here.

Re: a question
I swear you only actually post in order to ask that question these days, David.

If you don't like that........ create your own thread. THEN you might have permission to whine.

Re: a question
Make or reopen a thread that is not completely serious, not ultra-futuristic or space-age, and not based on an epic history.

I wholeheartedly approve of you finally doing this yourself, as opposed to continously berating other forum users for not doing something they don't want to.
