Do not, under any circumstances, buy your RAM off Ebuyer. Of the three times I have, two sticks were shot to **** on arrival and getting an RMA for them took weeks.

I love Ebuyer, buy most my stuff there. RAM I'd buy at www.overclockers.co.uk, as well as anything else you can get for a similar price there (such as possibly that hard drive) simply because their returns policy and customer service are both excellent even if their site is marginally less intuitive than Ebuyer.

Actually, Dace, contrary to what I said on IRC, go with this one: http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=43432
I wasn't looking correctly - the other card was a regular 9600, not a 9600 Pro. In which case the linked card will be the better one for you.

NEVER EVER build your own computer!!
If you do and someting fks up (it catches fire) and you lose stuff then by law you are allowed to sue the a*se off yourself and be taken to the cleaners. You could actually end up losing everything you have and any future earnings you make just to pay the debt.
Leave it to the professionals.

Erm, I wouldn't advise anyone to get a GeForce2 MX even to wipe their butt with. At the very least you could advise him towards a GeForce4 MX then.

If you're going to buy a GF4MX, just wait until you can buy a ti4200 instead, the additional cost isn't actually that great considering the immense performance increase and actual, proper, real-life DX8.0 support.

Putting a TNT2 in it will ruin the whole thing, you can get a geforce 4 mx for about 40 pound so get one of them instaed.
