Re: Overhauling Quests to become Achievements
If an activity is not rewarding in and of itself, then it should be changed to become that. When I play Diablo 3, I don't get "YOU WIN A LEGENDARY ITEM" halfway through a farming run. When I play Team Fortress 2, I don't get "YOU'VE KILLED 1,000 HEAVIES AS A SCOUT, YOU EARNED A HAT". So why should that kind of thing happen in Planetarion?
As for killing alternate playing styles... well, that's something that can easily be reversed. In fact, it could easily never have happened in the first place, as it's been pointed out in advance every single time.
