as an advocate of minimal moderation, I'd say they're doing a good job. May the deity of their choosing bless them and all who sail in them.

Well, I suppose it depeends what you define as intellectual in terms of it being critical or not.

Google gives me "a person who uses the mind creatively" and "Rational rather than emotional." among others. I'd say they were positive traits in a poster.
