I'm implying our 'indigenous' population are the direct equivelent of your chavs, so if we're racist he must love the chavs.

Implying? 'White Australia' policy, anyone? Kindnap Aboriginie kids and forcibly send them away from their families, anyone?
Perhaps if you'd integrated the Aboriginies into your society instead of excluding them, barbarising them, and killing them, then they'd be in a better social position than that which they currently find themselves in.

Right... and like England hasn't had it's share of dark history
..don't even get me started on how you've soddemised North Ireland, it might as well be called 'Little Britain'.
As for your second point, there in lays the problem... financially they probably get more money than most middle income families, but they choose quite deliberately not to do anything good with it. They would rather sit naked around camp fires drinking piss than integrate themselves with modern society.

Oh, and encouraging productive immigration from an early date instead of beating the shit out of the Chinese because they happened to work better than you might have been good as well.

Well, I can't think of a single place in the western world where racism and general folly was given such a strong official sanction until recently, save the Deep South. I don't know why then the popular perception of the population of the Deep South is that of the incestuous, murderous, backwards hick, and that of Australia is of the lovable bushwacker, but there you go.

I can't imagine any sane person wanting to do that, although considering the uphill struggle they face, not to mention the hatred, and prejudice there is for the Aboriginies, (Which your post neatly exemplifies.) I wouldn't be terribly surprised if they chose to shrug their shoulders to some extent and turn away.

Not really, because his argument is flawed. They are hated for many reasons but being black isn't one of them. Descrimination maybe, racism though frankly has nothing to do with it. That would then put it into direct comparison.

They're a different race, they're discriminated purely as a result of their race.

You are either being incredibly naive or incredibly dishonest. Of course it's a combination of factors (Social groups at the bottom of the pile are always looked down on by the other groups, that's natural to any society I can think of.) but to say that a good deal of the opposition they face, and have faced, doesn't also spring from simple racism is idiotic.
The whole basis for white perception of the Aboriginies was explicitly racist for the best part of 150-170 years. You don't change that overnight.

That's where your wrong
If you're going to defend a race at least learn something about their culture.
Living in the bush, making campfires, beating their women, hunting kangaroo etc is the same thing they have been doing since even before white man came to Australia. Maybe they were late in the evolutionary scale or maybe our presence has stunted their growth as a society, whatever the reason the fact still stands that this is what comes natural to them and this is the lifestyle they choose willingly.
The government goes as far as to give them their own branch of legislative power, who assigns them free housing, that they choose to knock the roofs off, break all the windows, and chop up the door for firewood to stock up the campfire they have going in the loungeroom.
They pay for the childrens educations, in their own school, run completely by Aboriginees. Most schools of which have about a 60% attendance rate. They give them large quantities of soverign land to do whatever the hell they choose, most end up discarding their housing and simply living outside, discarding rubbish all over the place as they see fit.
Now it was white man that introduced them to the evils of alcohol and smoking this is true, but christ in the many years of being free, their own people with their own power they still choose to lay their lives to waste, drunk, and with quite serious health problems.
I think it can best be described as 'When advanced technology & culture meets primeval man'.

I think it's the fact you can say things like "the government give aborignies large quantities of land" with a straight face is what makes it all so amusing.
