Misanthropy in general, in particular people who prefer dogs/cats to other human beings because of severe personality problems they've developed.
White people who want to be/look black,
black people who want to be/look white,
Asian people who want to be/look white (or
black), rich people who want to look poor, poor people who want to look rich, and so on. On a similar vein, it seems odd to me that so many Japanese games have European central characters.
p.s. The Economist is a good publication. It is biased as hell but that is rather the point, and at least it is fairly open about this unlike (for example) the BBC which is under some strange illusion it is being 'impartial'.
p.p.s. With HIGNFY or MMORPG, would you prefer people wrote out the terms in full every time they wanted to refer to these things?
