While you may not like how someone is playing, it's not cheating. It's a basic feature of the game that we can attack anyone the heart desires, when you want to. Putting restrictions on something like that would do much more harm than good.
We can certainly talk about changing xp def so 1 ship or 7 doesn't give the full amount. I do agree with what eksero said earlier though, you can win this game by attacking only, same thing should be possible for defending. In terms of straight up game score, defending is never worth it. I'd like that to change

This is obviously where you are wrong.
You are allowed to attack with who you want, defend who you want, and help them gain roids/xp/score by attacking with them/defending them.
As long as you dont breach the "support planet rule", wich basicly put into place to stop out of tag planets escorting/etc.
You are not allowed to initatiate roids for friends to come get.
Or make them land you for free so they can gain XP.
Or attack them so they gain XP or salvage.
Anyone with half a brain will know this to be true.
The restrictions are there to stop abuse, and if a pattern is discovered or someone, like you just did, says they are doing this, you will get closed. Now if there was a MH alive to handle any of the request sent to them they would prolly tell you this.
