When i said that "news" stations don't give a good presentation of world news, they REALLY don't it's incredibly difficult to find out what's happening in the world unless it DIRECTLY affects us... ie a briton is killed or kidnapped. How much do we know about what really matters to the people of papau new guinne, how many people know about the many hundreds of civil wars going on in towns arround the world? I realise that this is driven by the supply demand market, but shouldn't it be somthing more?

PS. I'm as ignorant as the next person
