With respect to BG, I assume the series is entering a period of moral ambiguity--when the badduns start acting a little bit good and the gooduns start acting a little bit bad; with the kicker being almost nobody knows for sure which side they're really on (human or cylon). In this way, humans and cylons will ultimately discover that they complement one another, that their senseless struggle has all been the result of a gigantic misunderstanding, and proceed arm in claw to a new shared future.
