that's not to say the GTX isn't faster than the GT, it is. it just isn't that much faster.
If you don't mind spending an extra £30 or so the new 512MB GTS is a tad faster than the GT. blah blah, basically do what i said in my first post if you don't mind waiting a month.
Personally, I'd rather not wait; though the 9x series does look tempting.

Selection choice also comes down to the components available through Dell, as that's where I'm buying the system from. The reason I'm doing it this way is to save the hassle of construct the PC myself (though I could do it if I REALLY REALLY wanted!) and it works out cheaper from Dell than building up from scratch.
