So long as the fans keep enjoying the books, I don't really see the problem with writing more.
Especially as it has been known for years by this stage that this is, and was always going to be, a 7 book series.

Complaining that book 6 out of 7 is pure money spinning (or the like) is like shouting at a film maker, after the second part of a trilogy, 'How dare you make more! That's just commercialism you damn capitalist pigdog!'
