Considering that the planet has 40% more score than the 2nd and that most of this score cant be lost, this was sure a well-rounded strategy.
It is ok by the rules. But the rules do not cover out of game afinities. So we can say it was at least morally wrong. But planet ranking competition has been at least since I joined always a clown's show. So I think it is fine.
