He's part of the problem the European Union is currently experiencing - lack of labour mobility. Because of his friends (he has some right?), family, roots, and so on he's reclutant to move from where he lives now, and thus contributes into problems the monetary union is facing at the moment.
But technically, because UK isn't a part of the Euro system, it's really not our problem as much as yours.
