just out of curiosity, why do people think that brittish history began with the romans? There was a culture (ie bronse age etc) for around 3k years BC, and before that we had us a stone age, so there's at least 5000 years of british history, just because it wasn't called britan or all under one ruler doesn't mean it didn't happen.

also posting to say I havn't forgotten the sacrifice the brave men and women made for our freedom.
